Burlingame Residence

Indoor-Outdoor Rear Addition

This rear addition completely changed the feel of this Burlingame home. By opening the back of the house, we created a generous kitchen, dining, and living space centered around the backyard. The deep roof overhang and full-width steps became the defining architectural feature, giving the home a stronger presence while keeping construction costs in check.
